What's New:
01/23/2005 - Double
Launcher
New version: 2.1 (download)
Here are the new features in this version:
01/23/2005 - Touch Keyboard
New version: 1.2 (download)
This new version adds a visual effect highlighting the last key you pressed. I've found this makes it easier to detect typos on the fly.
01/23/2005 - Time Present
New version: 1.2 (download)
Two new features:
01/09/2005 - Double Launcher Beta
The version 2.1 upgrade is finally ready for Beta testing! (Apologies to all the registered users I announced this upgrade to so long ago. Various factors have kept me from working on any shareware projects, and also, I tried for a long time to learn how to intercept the extra buttons on some devices, but finally to no avail.) Here are the new features in this version:
Unfortunately, I've been unable to figure out how to intercept the extra buttons on some devices (such as volume buttons or Call/Hangup buttons on phone editions.) Again, if anybody out there knows of any app that has succeeded in doing this, could you let me know? It may be that by studying the app, I'll be able to figure out how it manages this trick.
In the mean time, you can download the Beta build of DoubleLauncher 2.1 here. Please let me know if you find any problems. If all goes well, the release date for DoubleLauncher 2.1 will be January 23rd.
10/18/2003 - Time Present
The latest version, 1.01, fixes a bug where commas in note text caused the note to be truncated when loading a saved log.
10/18/2003 - e-war
The price for registering e-war has been reduced to $5.99. Also, an independent party has created a hosting service
for e-war games. This should take a lot of the trouble out of playing a multiplayer game, and also provide a community
of other e-war users to play games with. (Sorry, the guy
who started the hosting service has given it up.)
10/18/2003 - Double Launcher
The planned version 2.1 upgrade I e-mailed registered users about a long while back has been delayed because I haven't been able to get enough time off from my regular job. Here are the planned new features:
Finally, I've also been trying to figure out how to intercept the volume button on the T-Mobile xda, with no success so far. If anybody out there knows of any app that has succeeded in doing this, could you let me know? It may be that by studying the app, I'll be able to figure out how it manages this trick. Thanks.
